Scott Kirkpatrick

Scott Kirkpatrick became a member of the Wambolt team in March 2021 and has hit the ground running as the Controller of the firm. With over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services, his knowledge and immediate contributions to the firm have been invaluable. Scott oversees the finance and accounting aspects of the firm, along with the human resources and compliance functions.

Over his career, Scott has worked for several financial institutions where his responsibilities ranged from financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, full-cycle accounting, banking operations and has a prominent background in leadership. He brings tremendous insight into best practices related to expense management, accounting, and compensation, as well as office management. With a proven track record of process improvements, he is hopeful to create efficiencies for the company. His knowledge of banking regulations will assist the firm in staying compliant with the requirements of the SEC.

When Scott is not at work crunching numbers, he loves to ski with his children, enjoys road and mountain biking, and finds opportunities to travel with his family.
