We are pleased to announce that Jovi Rodriguez has joined the Wambolt Family as a Junior Wealth Management Advisor and Analyst. Jovi joins us from J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, where he supported private investment clients with financial planning, account maintenance and clear communication. He also worked with a broad spectrum of retail and wealth management clients, learning how they think and where their vision and goals differ.
At Wambolt, Jovi is a financial analyst, spotting trends, tracking indicators, and forecasting the outlook of a company, asset or product. He specializes in technology and impact investing strategies at companies, organizations and funds that both generate returns and benefit social or environmental causes. Jovi works closely with Andrew Jenkins, Managing Director of Planning and Investments, developing and reviewing investment strategies, building out asset allocation plans, balancing portfolios and placing trades. He also reviews financial statements and individual financial plans, helping us at Wambolt to see things from our clients’ perspective so we can act quickly and decisively.
It’s this client-focus that drew Jovi to Wambolt & Associates. “Getting to know the clients personally, learning more about their risk profiles and goals, and presenting the options available in the industry to get them to where they want to be is how we create the type of value clients expect,” he says. Jovi particularly enjoys meeting with clients, answering questions, reviewing financial data and helping develop suitable investment strategies.
In Jovi’s free time, he enjoys road biking, rowing, running, hiking and spending time with his dog, Bentley. He is also working towards his goal of traveling to all 50 states!
