Spring has sprung…well, besides the ‘typical’ spring snow storm that blew through the front range earlier this month. We hope you are enjoying the extra sunlight, and taking advantage of it to spend some time outside doing what you love. Tax season is almost behind us, and with that we are looking forward to a prosperous season with the team of professionals we have assembled here at Wambolt & Associates.
As you know, it takes a considerable amount of time and energy to build a team of A+ players. With our continued growth, it became apparent that I needed someone alongside me to help share what we have created.
I am proud to announce a new addition to our team; please help me welcome Matthew Blake. As a Senior Wealth Management Advisor he will work closely with our current clients and help new clients become truly engaged in the ‘Wambolt experience’.
Matt brings 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry to our team. He has worked with many of the most respected investment and brokerage firms throughout his career in a variety of leadership roles. To name a few: Prudential Securities, Charles Schwab, Jackson National and Capital Investment Counsel. Most recently, Matt helped build a boutique Registered Investment Advisory firm (My Portfolio Guide), working primarily with clients in the Rocky Mountain Region.
So what brought Matt to the Wambolt family? I was introduced to Matt through a mutual friend and I knew immediately that he would be a great fit for our team. His reputation for excellence and passion for building true relationships is rare and separates him from his peers. The vision and values that Matt has displayed throughout his career, along with his love of the outdoors, align with how I have spent the last 30 years building Wambolt and Associates. Matt grew up in Evergreen, CO and is an avid fly fisherman. He will be taking our Fly of the Month Club and other programs to new levels.
